Speaking of which, the 32-year-old singer recently sat for an interview where he opened up about parenting and how Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been an ‘amazing teammate.’
While speaking on The School of Greatness podcast with Lewis Howes, Nick Jonas was also asked to share three lessons he would leave for his daughter Malti Marie if it were his last day on earth.
Responding to this, he stated that the first lesson for Malti would be to be a kind person. He elaborated, saying, “You will never regret being kind, even when it seems impossible.”
He further states that his second lesson to their daughter will be to become a welcoming personality. Nick said, “Make sure the door is always open and the table gets bigger. You know, everyone is always welcome in our home, they have a place to stay and a place to eat. The door is always open.”
The last lesson showed his deep admiration for his wife. Calling Priyanka ‘saint,’ Nick Jonas said, “Your mother is a saint. She has never done a single thing wrong in her entire life. She’s the best.”
During the same conversation, the singer also heaped praise on Priyanka for being a wonderful partner in parenting. Expressing how her support makes being a dad to Malti Marie even more special, he said, “Having an amazing teammate in my wife, just the woman that she is has helped me and my daughter, we’ve all benefited from that, and it’s amazing to walk side by side with someone as brilliant as her. It makes being a dad even more special.”
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra got hitched in a dreamy wedding ceremony in December 2018. They first exchanged vows as per Christian wedding customs and then tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony. After years of marriage, the madly-in-love couple embraced parenthood with the birth of their daughter, Malti Marie, through surrogacy in January 2022.
