San Francisco Giants infielder Matt Chapman and wife, Taylor, are expecting a baby boy in July. Chapman’s wife recently provided an update on her pregnancy on social media.

Chapman joined the Giants in March 2024 for a one-year, $18 million contract, and later signed a six-year, $151 million extension after the 2024 regular season. He has been married to Taylor (nee Curran) since December 2021.

On Tuesday, Chapman’s wife uploaded a mirror selfie from a gym on her Instagram story. She wore a brown two-piece athletic outfit and stood near a multipurpose gym equipment.

Taylor captured the picture with the phone in her left hand, while she placed her other hand beneath her baby bump.

“22 weeks,” she captioned the post.

Chapman’s wife is a psychology graduate from the University of Arizona. She has worked as a flight attendant at Delta Air Lines, a personal trainer at Equinox, a senior recruiter at Kforce Inc. and a marketing and promotions coordinator at NUTRISHOP USA.

Matt Chapman married his wife, Taylor, on Dec. 11, 2021, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Their first child, a daughter named Gia, was born on Sep. 19, 2024.

The couple announced their second pregnancy on Dec. 25 through a combined Instagram post. Chapman kissed his wife on the forehead in the post’s cover image. She held the ultrasound images of the baby.

Taylor wore a white maxi dress, while Chapman donned a white sweater and black pants. Their Christmas tree was visible in the background.

“Our greatest gift this Christmas. Baby BOY coming July🤎👼🏼🙏🏼✨,” she captioned the post.

The second picture showed a candid family moment of the couple holding their daughter. Chapman embraced his wife from behind in the third picture.

The couple posed together in the fourth, while their daughter played with the Christmas tree. It was the sole monochrome picture of the post.

The next picture showed the family decorating the tree, while the sixth featured Chapman hugging Taylor as their daughter played nearby.

Their daughter appeared to gently touch her mother’s baby bump in the penultimate picture. A softly blurred picture of Chapman and his wife dancing rounded out the post.
